The position involves academic and clinical responsibilities related to the teaching of internal medicine to undergraduate medical students. The successful candidate will be engaged in delivering lectures, supervising practical classes, and supporting clinical rotations, while also contributing to research and curriculum development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and clinical training in Internal Medicine to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Conduct clinical and/or translational research in relevant areas of internal medicine.
- Supervise students and residents in their academic and clinical progress, including mentoring research projects.
- Participate in clinical practice in university-affiliated hospitals or clinics.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous academic improvement.
- Attend and organize academic events, conferences, and workshops.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) and PhD or equivalent academic qualification in Internal Medicine.
- Board certification or specialization in Internal Medicine.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and/or academic research.
- Strong publication record (preferred, but not mandatory for early-career applicants).
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
